What is Tandem Skydiving?
Tandem jumps are meant to offer an introduction to skydiving. They allow the learner to "SKYDIVE" with an experienced skydiver. A tandem skydive consists of an experienced skydiver called a "Tandem Master" and the passenger (YOU). The passenger and Tandem Master each wear a harness. The passenger’s harness attaches to the front of the Master's harness, and the two of them jump together from approximately 10000 -14000 feet above the ground, freefall together for about 65 seconds, open the parachute together, and land together under one really big parachute. A tandem skydive requires anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes of additional ground preparation.

Tandem skydiving provides an obvious advantage for the adventurous spirit who does not wish to train as extensively as required for an AFF skydive. By relying on the Tandem Master's skills, they will be able to experience the thrill of skydiving with very minimal training.
